This Blog is all about the Battle of Marathon. The battle of Marathon is one of the first battles of the Persian war. When I was four years old I had always been interested in ancient Greece. When it was bedtime my dad and mom would read Greek myths to me. My dad was always taking me to art museums to see greek art and statues. When I was six years old I knew a lot about greek myths and art, we even named our dog Griffin after the half-bird, half lion creature. This blog has given me a chance to learn about greek war and how they protected their city. I want to make this blog also to learn how the people in ancient times fought with other communities compared to how we fight today. This topic is meaningful because it will expand my knowledge about Greek history and how their city worked. Also because I like knowing how we have changed in our way of fighting.
