| If you want to know about the Persian War I think that you should first know how it started. During the Ionian revolt the Persians were being insulted by their leadership. The Persians, led by King Darius, were most mad about the Athenians helping the Ionians during the Ionian revolt. Persia had more than one reason to attack Greece. The first reason is the Athens helped the Ionians and then left before the Persians could fight them. Also the Persians wanted to extend there land to Europe. At the time, Persia was the largest empire known of its time. I know, right? Persia must have been so power hungry to want to take over Greece. The Persians were a little smart to try to take over Greece, before Greece conquered them. I think that it was Persia's fault for starting the Persian war but it was also the Athenians fault for being cowards. Tell me what you think.
